We have a new mechanic this season to unlock the Essences of Power introduced. You will now find mutated sea creatures in the depths of the underwater world that must be defeated. These creatures are significantly larger and more resilient than their counterparts. Which opponents await you there will not be revealed here; this is a case of: explore for yourself!
If you kill and butcher such a mutated animal, you will find a colored mist that lasts for a few minutes. Any players who find this mist before it disappears can Essence of Power unlock. The color of the mist determines which Essence of Power is unlocked.
Warning: You can only use the fog if you have previously completed all Powerstones successfully collected.
Unlocking all essences is a basic requirement for starting the Octopus V2.
And if I've lost track of which essence I'm still missing? Then you can compare the screenshot on the left with your own Discovery list.
If you no longer need a fog and no one else has used it, you can also dismantle the fog. To do this, swim as still as possible in place and hold E until the bar is full. Important: You need all of the following beforehand Powerstones.
You will then receive an "Essence." This can be traded or stored.
