On the vast majority of the Radioactive Server, a simple decay rule applies:
Ships, tames, and structures that have not been rendered by a company player for 14 days will be affected by decay and disappear.
This regulation applies to all "normal", player-claimable islands.
A red hammer, like the one on the left of the image, serves as a highly visible decay warning.
But there are two big exceptions.
- On Powerstone Islands Ships, tames, and structures disappear after they have not been rendered by a company member for 48 hours.

2. On C3, the "starter island" with the capital Nassau, an aggressive 48-hour decay is running. This affects Ships and tames. See also C3 Decay.
Houses, animal selling platforms, and shops are only affected by decay after 14 days. Caution: for shops and platforms, it's not enough to just walk by! To be safe, you must open the inventory.
General Note:
Both the Powerstone Islands and C3 are not intended as parking spaces. If you leave your belongings there and exceed the 48-hour limit, you do so at your own risk. Generally, the decay is always right; what's gone is gone.
You should also NOT rely on the "Decay" warnings in the Company Log under ANY circumstances. They are extremely prone to errors, easily overlooked, and offer no security whatsoever. Make sure you visit your structures regularly and refrain from permanent parking on C3 and Powerstone Islands. Then you will be on the safe side.
