by With the help of the Crew Silo you can supply all your NPCs on an island (on the island where the silo is located) with gold and food. It is not necessary to claim the island.
This works on all "normal", i.e. claimable, islands. It does not work on C3, as shown here in the picture. The silo does not help on Powerstone islands either.
A tip: don't use the silo as a storage location. Your NPCs will eat things too quickly and uncontrollably. It's better to use the Milk, Meat, Veggie, Herb & Berry Storage.
