Special features:

If a player is bitten by a Komodo, they become infected with a disease. Be careful, this disease can be transmitted to your animals. If you have been bitten, be sure to wait for the infection timer in the HUD before you sit on your animal. Otherwise you will only infect each other again and again until you die.
