by If you travel around the islands of Radioactive for a while, sooner or later you will come across large, colorful domes. Inside you will find small, well-defended camps or villages that are occupied by extremely aggressive pirates. These camps can only be fought inside the dome. You cannot shoot into them with weapons, hurl grenades or spells through them or anything similar. If you want to fight the camp, you have to go inside.
The aim is to defeat all 20 pirates within the camp and capture the flag. Inside the camp you can expect all kinds of guns and free-moving NPCs with the usual weapons who want to kill you. This can seem very tough at first, and it is not uncommon for you to be attacked immediately after entering the camp. The only thing to do is to seek cover and take up the fight as quickly as possible. But there is also good news.
Within the dome, you can use pretty much everything the game has to offer. Cannons, fighting animals, melee weapons, grenades. You can also make use of the normal terrain.
A certain amount of preparation is also important. Can help:
Medkits (Savior skill does not hurt)
possibly an animal that provides you with cover
Buff food (ale, pudding)
Plate armor
Melee weapons
A solid skill with decent health.
A fighting animal (e.g. crab, bear, hippo)
A mobile cannon (land cannon for pushing or on a horse, unicorn or bear cart)
Sleeping bags for a quick respawn
You won't need all of it, but you should prepare as well as possible, especially at the beginning. If you don't prepare, your trip will end quickly and bloodily. And let me be clear: if you just run in, you will die. Plan ahead! A few tips:
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are too close to the dome, cannons etc. will not work. Just go a little further into the camp.
